Living Life with Compassion
A group based on Acceptance & Commitment Therapy
ABOUT THIS PROGRAM:
Living Life with Compassion is a six-week group and a booster session that is based upon both Compassion-focused Therapy and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. This group is available to (and limited to) those patients who have previously completed the Living Life to the Fullest group.
This group further expands upon awareness of your relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings, with specific focus on developing skills and attributes to reduce suffering. The goal of the group is to experientially learn compassionate-mind training that helps you relate to your inner experiences in a way that moves you forward on your life journey with compassionate flexibility.
Numerous, evidence-based research outlines how compassionate-mind training is effective for addressing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, addictions, relationship stress, chronic pain, caregiver stress and health-related behaviour change, to name a few.
