Medical Office Assistants can perform administrative tasks as well as some medical duties while under the supervision of health practitioners. Medical Office Assistants can perform tasks including but not limited to; bringing patients into exam rooms and taking patients’ vitals (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, height, and weight). They can also give injections, under the supervision of an on-site Medical Doctor or Nurse Practitioner.
