Type 2 Diabetes Education Program

Diabetes Care Team in St Catharines is offering a 5 week education workshop on Type 2 Diabetes

Are your blood sugars much higher than they should be?
Are you feeling overwhelmed that you no longer test blood sugars?Have you stopped caring about your Type 2 Diabetes?
Do you struggle with knowing what to eat to manage blood sugars?

The Diabetic Care Team, consisting of a Dietitian and Registered Nurse, will be discussing topics such as:

~What happens in the body with Type 2 Diabetes (pathophysiology)
~Risk of complications
~Healthy eating/Label reading
~Heart health (cholesterol and blood pressure)
~Physical activity
~Medications

In this group, RD/RN will provide information weekly and allow you the opportunity to share your own experiences
