Hypertension Consultation – NOTL Site
This program is run by our Registered Nurse Educators.
This program is for you if
- You have been told that you have high blood pressure
- You are interested in preventing high blood pressure
- You would like to learn how to measure your blood pressure
- You would like to know more about lifestyle effects on blood pressure
What the hypertension program has to offer
- You will learn about blood pressure and risks associated with high blood pressure.
- You will learn about your numbers, and what you can do to prevent high blood pressure
- You will how to measure your blood pressure at home
- You will learn about the links between blood pressure and sodium, physical activity, healthy eating, stress effects and coping strategies
- You will learn about medications used to treat blood pressure
When it’s offered
Currently the program is offered on an individual basis by appointment.
