The Niagara Virtual Urgent Care service provides convenient and safe treatment through secure video for non-emergency injuries or illnesses, for patients who do not have a primary care provider or cannot make an appointment with their family doctor or other primary care provider during the week. https://www.urgentcareontario.ca/

Heart Healthy Eating Class

What the Heart Healthy Eating Class has to offer:

The Heart Healthy Eating Class is facilitated by a registered Dietitian.  In this 1.25 hour workshop you will learn strategies and tips to eat well to improve your cholesterol levels.  Anyone with elevated cholesterol or concerned about heart health is welcome.

When it’s offered:

The workshop is offered 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm on ZOOM

September 30 is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.

September 21 to 25: Beginning September 21 there will be week-long events and initiatives to bring awareness to this meaningful cause. There are daily webinar lunch and learn sessions, you can learn more and register here

September 30: Remembering the Children commemorates the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. Participate on September 30th, as we memorialize the children lost to the residential school system and honour Survivors and their families.

There will be a live broadcast from Ottawa beginning at 12pm EDT. You can watch here
