March 16, 2020 update:

  • Effective Monday March 16th all non-essential appointments will be cancelled.
  • All NNFHT group classes are cancelled until further notice.
  • If you have an upcoming scheduled appointment you will be contacted by our office to make alternative arrangements. For visits that are deemed priority issues, telephone visits with a healthcare provider will be an option.
  • Our clinics are still open for business and will continue to serve you, however we will be taking all necessary precautions to keep our patients and staff as safe as possible. During this time, some of our sites will be keeping their front doors locked to allow for additional pre-screening measures for all patients entering the clinic.
  • Some sites may ask patients to wait in their car and call us from their cellphone upon arrival for their appointments. Please call your clinic ahead so you know what to expect when you arrive.
  • At NNFHT we are proactively screening patients at all of our sites. Upon calling and/or checking in, staff will ask patients about travel and symptoms, particularly respiratory symptoms, and contact with others. If you meet the current case-definition (a combination of symptoms, contact, and/or travel) for COVID-19 staff will begin a special infection-control protocol.
  • Patients coming to the clinics for appointments are asked to limit the number of family members/guests attending appointments with them to no more than 1 person.  All visitors will also be screened.
  • Please phone us before coming to our clinics and please avoid all non-essential visits to our office. We will be making all efforts to provide patients with the services they need by using alternative methods where appropriate. For example, if you require a sick note we will find a way to get the sick note to you that does not require you to come to our office (eg. fax, secure e-mail, mail).
